One of the single most important aspects of any website and online presence is it’s SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Appear Above Your Competition With Search Engine Optimisation
While spending £££ on Google Ads is great and you will see returns almost immediately this is only a short term solution – turn the ads off and all that business is lost. With SEO all the effort put in is there to stay, every gain made in your rankings will be there whether you run ads or not.
How We Can Help
We tackle existing websites with little to no SEO optimisation or which are poorly optimised. We also deliver SEO for new websites which we have built starting from scratch.
The way we build up Search engine optimisation on your website is not through tricks at all – its through on-page and off-page content, research into industry specific keywords, optimisation, usage of all available free platforms, link building (backlinks) and creation of new pages and content for your product and service.
The example below is a client we had worked with for more than 6 years, they had previously used a company to help with their website SEO and as can be seen below this was around 2011-2012, they had good results in terms of website traffic, however this was short lived as most of this had been achieved using ‘black hat’ tricks to boost the rankings (e.g. bad back links). In 2012-2013 Google updated its algorithmns and most of this traffic had been lost.
It was in November 2016 we were asked to set up a brand new SEO strategy for the website and drive more traffic to the site. Our client had no choice between 2013-2016 to make up for the loss in traffic with Google Ads (pay-per-click)
The graph above shows the organic growth due to our optimisation work on their website and since the middle of 2018 it has seen the highest traffic to the website ever. (The tool that generated this graph is actually estimated traffic and not actual – by SEMRUSH).
Update: June 2019 saw the highest ever positions with ‘quartz worktops’ searches in Google showing Rock & Co at position 3, just behind Silestone (a manufacturer) and Wickes (a major kitchen retailer). These are numbers we are really proud of.
Most important was the ranking of approx 10 keywords which are very specific to the product and industry they are in, they had never ranked for these before but are actually now found on the first page of Google for all of them.
The graph below seeks to show the growth in keyword positions on Google.
This graph is showing how many keywords the website is ranking for in Google. The amount of keywords isn’t really the most important factor, its the position they are at. For example the yellow bar in the graph are keywords in the top 3 positions of Google. This is where the growth in website traffic has been seen.
Of course as the top keywords rank higher the lower volume keywords will also rank higher as the website is more relevant and more highly regarded in the search engine for user searches.
