Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Put Yourself Above The Competition With Search Engine Optimisation
While spending £££ on Google Ads is great and you will see returns almost immediately, this is a short term solution – stop advertising and all that business is lost. With SEO, all the effort you put in is retained: every improvement in your ranking remains, with or without ads.

How to benefit from great SEO
We worked with Client X for over 6 years before they turned to us for SEO support in November 2016. Unfortunately, their previous SEO partner used ‘black hat’ tricks to improve their rankings, which was lost when Google updated their algorithms in 2012/13 and paid for Google ads were unable to make up their loses.
Our SEO strategy has driven the highest number of visitors to their site, peaking in the middle of 2018 and then again in June 2019 (not shown). The increased traffic has come through organic growth, not pay-per-click advertising. (Graph generated by SEMRUSH based on estimated traffic)
Update: June 2019 brought their highest ever ranking with our client reaching position 3 for ‘quartz worktops’ searches in Google, just behind Silestone (a manufacturer) and Wickes (a major kitchen retailer). Our client is thrilled with this position even today.
More importantly, the client is ranked for approximately 10 keywords that are specific to their product and industry. They had not ranked for these previously and even today, remain on the first page of Google for them all.
The graph below shows the growth in keyword positions on Google.
We can see growth in website traffic from the use of strategic keywords and how our client sits in the top 3 positions for Google (see the yellow bar). Of course, as the top keywords rank higher, the lower volume keywords also rank higher as the website proves it’s relevance to potential customers.
